Camping and Holidaying at Pra’ delle Torri, Italy #ad

Earlier this month, LPD and I went to the Caravan and Camping show at the NEC to hunt out the best family-friendly tent for us. We love the idea of going on lots of camping adventures as a family, and have already booked a weeks’ holiday in Wales for the summer. As Pickle gets older though, I’d love to take him camping abroad. I vividly remember going on a camping holiday to France when I was younger – going to the bakery and asking to buy baguettes in French, and getting my head around the foreign currency – it was brilliant! With continental Europe on our doorstep, there’s a wealth of gorgeous holiday villages and campsites to choose from so I was delighted recently to be introduced to Pra’ delle Torri in Italy.

Pra’ Delle Torri has just been awarded a Trip Advisor Traveller’s Choice award for 2017, ranking it the 15th hotel destination in Italy and 1st in the vicinity of Caorle and it’s easy to see why. The holiday village, not far from Venice on the coast in Caorle, offers a vast array of holidaying options. For us, we’d be interested in the large camping area. There are a variety of camping pitch sizes and a number of washrooms, including one that’s heated during low season but if that’s not your thing, fear not! This Holiday Resort also boasts mobile homes, bungalows , apartments and a hotel to suit a range of budgets and requirements as well as an 18 hole golf course, a big Sports Centre, aquatic park, shops, restaurants and holiday entertainment teams. The resort also has a valued commitment to the environment and sustainability. There’s a wealth of landscaped green areas and charging stations for electric cars.

LPD and I have only been to Italy once, on a mini break to Rome (and whilst the less said about that holiday the better… it was plagued by a horrible tummy bug!), I was mesmerised by the culture and history. With Pra’ delle Torri being so close to Venice, it would be perfect for the odd day trip to visit this beautiful and romantic city and we could tick a whole load of attractions off our bucket list. The local area is also fantastic to cycle around so we’d definitely either take our own or hire some bicycles out there to explore and take in the scenery.

And if that wasn’t enough sport for us, this holiday village also offers opportunies to play Tennis, 5-a-side Football and Badminton (although, I can never manage to hit the shuttlecock – anyone else also have trouble? I have tried and failed many times!). If we went when Pickle’s a bit older, there’s also a Mini Club so if LPD and I wanted to enjoy a bit of relaxation ourselves, he can go off and play in the children’s club and we could enjoy a gin and tonic outside our tent in the warm Italian sunshine. Blissful! Perhaps we’ll need the time to chill after a morning of fun playing in the aquatic park, or a day of playing on the beach.

The percentage of ‘completely satisfied’ customers on Tripadvisors is staggering (a whopping 92.6%) and with five star ratings from ANWB and ADAC, I feel like you can book a holiday here safe in the knowledge that you’ll be in good hands. We’re a long way off being adventurous enough for a foreign camping trip just yet, but when we are, I’ll be checking this resort out for definite. You can find more about the resort at the Pra’ delle Torri website or find Pra’ delle Torri on Instagram and on Facebook or use the hashtag #pradelletorri to keep up to date with the latest deals and offers.
